Whilst the aims of the Disc Jockey Association is to support members and advance the value of the DJ and profession, members of DJ Associates DJ Association can do their part in helping to educate in the importance of selecting a professional operator who abides by good business practice and follows sensible ethics:

Members of the Association are expected to maintain a common sense approach to providing a hire service.  Clients will naturally expect a high level of professionalism so by adopting and adhering to a set of principles recognised in good business practice is a positive step for own local business and of course the profession.

Remember - professionals conduct their business by doing simple things such as providing written confirmation of the booking, clearly outlining charges and services provided, detailing fair Terms and Conditions of hire. 

Professionals refrain from making misleading claims and provide testimonials and proof of licenses on request.

Professionals treat their clients with the highest respect and try to assist in every reasonable way.

Professionals liaise with third party service providers in a professional conduct and endeavour to ensure the success of their clients function.

Professionals are mindful of bye-laws, regulations and health and safety at all times.

Professionals would not seek to bring the profession into dispute.

Registered 'Full Members' are permitted to use the official © logos of The DJ Association on their web sites and other promotional material however no member shall use terms other than 'Member' or 'Registered Member' in relation to those logos or any narrative associated with their membership to describe their membership status. Adaptation of any DJ Associates logo or trademark is not permitted without proper authority obtained from the Administrator or Admin Team with the exception of resizing, provided it does not exceed 50% (larger or smaller) from the original size.
