Association Ethics

Whilst the aims of the Disc Jockey Association is to support members and advance the value of the DJ and profession, members of DJ Associates can help educate in the importance of selecting a professional operator by abiding by the Association Ethics:

Members of the Association maintain a high level of professionalism by adopting and adhering to a set of principles recognised in good business practice.

They agree to conduct their business professionally providing written confirmation of the booking, clearly outlining charges and services provided, detailing fair Terms and Conditions of hire. 

Members agree to refrain from making misleading claims and will provide testimonials and proof of licenses on request.

Members agree to treat their clients with the highest respect and will  arrive at the function on time, assisting their client in every reasonable way, liaising with third party service providers in a professional conduct and will endeavour to ensure the success of the clients function.

Members agree to be mindful of bye-laws, regulations and health and safety at all times.

Members agree to promote the reputation of the profession, the Association and fellow members.

Members agree not to bring the profession or the Association into dispute.
